Electro-chemical Sensor
In essence this technology is based on the principle of electrochemical catalytic reaction. As a general rule the sensors respond to the target gases and deliver a very small current signal that is usually proportional to the gas concentration.
Usually, electrochemical sensors are using either a liquid or a gel electrolyte which leads to a couple of challenges during the operation of the sensor.
EC Stox - German Technology
EC Stox is an industrial-grade, PPB level gas sensing device. It houses an electro-chemical gas sensor made of solid polymer with technology from EC Sense, < http://www.ecsense.de > Bavaria, Germany.
Work in Hostile Environment
Gaseous NH3 can become acidic when coming in contact with moisture. This ECtox stainless steel probe can measure the continuously high ammonia concentration while keeping its long lifetime.
